The Catechesis of the Popes

As I've noted in previous posts, the Pope's Wednesday General Audiences consist of thematic, systematic catechesis on particular topics of his choosing. The most famous of these is John Paul II's "Theology of the Body".

I wanted to create a place to easily access the Pope's General Audiences by topic. Below are some links to posts on the different topics that have been covered by Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI. Each link below, in turn, will link to all the audiences on that particular topic.

(*note: I now have up all of the main themes of catecheses for John Paul II and Benedict XVI. Keep watching this site as I have plans to add an "Other" section to chronicle all the general audiences that address special feasts, apostolic journeys, and other special events)

UPDATE: I have taken all of the blog posts on the Catechesis of the Popes and created a website specifically for this purpose: http://catechesisofthepopes.wikispaces.com/. Feel free to bookmark whichever site is easier to use!

Dear Average Joe,

Wish all of us were as Average as you. Great site. I use it to aid my translations (Spanish-English Church-related materials). I don't know what I'd do without it.

Thanks so much.

I was pleased to see your comment on Pete Vere's Catholic Light site.
